Default Purchase of a Dell with 3 months free internet service

I recently purchased a Dell on-line and selected to get the free 3
months of Bell Sympatico High Speed. I received my high speed modem
on Friday and everything is fine. I called Dell up as I hadn't recd
my PC and was told that my order was cancelled. My shipping address
and Visa address were different. No one bother to call me.

My question is this. Do I still get 3 months of free Internet even if
I dont get a PC. What sort of communcation is there between Dell and
the ISP's.

The ISP has given me a user ID and password. They got my name and
address from Dell (apparently Dell only cancelled part of my order ie.
the PC per their customer service rep). Don't want to call my ISP to
confirm the charge just in case they change it from $0 to their
regular charge.

Dunno. That is a million-dollar question that can probably only be

answered
by their customer service.

Chances are you're going to have to give them a credit card when you first
access it, or they might get it automatically from the card info you
supplied to Dell, since it's probably one of those "free for first 3 months,
then automatically billed $xxx if not cancelled" type of deals. If you do
so, you run the risk of them billing you for the modem and all of your
supposedly "free" service if you're caught.

Is it worth the risk? Up to you...
