Default Help! Flashed Bios now I get an error that my RAID Array hasan error

Hi,

I flashed my bios to 1007, everything went fine, system rebooted and
started up just fine. I got the startup screen for XP, but then the
computer rebooted. When it did, I recieved an error message telling me
that the RAID array was offline. I tried Rebuilding array, turning
on/off, checking the setting in the bios, and nothing seemed to work.

I then re-flashed the bios back to the version on the CD, and once
again nothing. The system boots up, and then I get a message telling
me that there is an error with the array. When I go into the FastBuild
utility I can see the array when I select Define Array, but it reads
Off Line.

I've flashed plenty of bios'es in the past, but this is my first with
an RAID array. I can't get it to rebuild either. Is there a way to
bring the array back Online? Is there a Bios setting that I'm missing?

Did WinXP do this? If so is there a way for me to fix it?

I've checked this group, and notice others had no problems, so I'm not
sure what went wrong with my update. Any help or thoughts would be
great.

Yep, Raid is enabled in BIOS. IDE mode is set to enhanced, and only
SATA is selected not SATA+the other option.

This is my first home-built PC using RAID, so I'm a little unsure what
offline status is supposed to indicate. I assume it means that a
problem was discovered and it shut down the array, but shouldn't there
be an easy way to reactivate it? Especially since I'm back to the
original BIOS before I tried updating.

Oddly enough I have the option to create an additional array, which is
pretty strange since I only have 2 disks, and they are both set for
the original array, which is still displayed.
