Default Fans and operating voltage

What is the usual operating voltage of computer case fans? I assumed it was
12 volts direct current but would like to know for sure and am wondering if
the fan voltage for most internal fans including cpu and regulator fans is
12 volts DC. or is it possibly some other voltage?

thanks,

Bill

Most are 12v, but I have seen some 5v. It'll say on the fan.

I may have missed any reply.

The operating voltage for computer case fans, CPU, and chipset fans is
typically 12 volts D.C.
