Quadro FX Screen Configuration.....problem
Hi All
I have a Quadro FX 2000 attached to an IBM T221 monitor at 3840x2400 resolution. You can configure this setup in two different ways using the settings:- 1. 1 Monitor running as 3840 x 2400 @ 12Hz 2. 2 Monitors running as (2x) 1920 x 2400 @ 25Hz and then acting as one monitor using the Horizontal scan mode provided in the drivers. Option 2 provides a 'seemless' connection allowing the system to operate as a single monitor and act at 25 Hz. The problem I have is this.... In certain applications I can set the application to full screen mode and obviously within the application then choose to use the application at 3840 x 2400 mode. However the problem is that then the applcation seems to force the card into option 1 of the two modes described above thereby forcing the application back into 12Hz mode. Can anyone tell me if there's a way to for the drivers to be forced to stay in option 2 mode and thereby avoid the application forcing the monitor into 12Hz mode? Thanks in advance. Regards P |
