Floppy refresh problem
Hello,
I have following problem with my fdd: After I change diskette in my fdd I can't see the new content. Sometimes system refreshes floppy content, but usually it doesn't - all the time I see the content of the first inserted floppy after system restart. I have already replaced a drive, a cable and an OS (Win 98 and 2000) and still the same. Mayby someone know what causes this behaviore? Greets, awojtow |

Greets, awojtow Not sure what process you're in with the floppy. If looking at the A:\ drive's contents in WINDOWS EXPLORER, you must click the A:\ symbol on Explorer for each disk you put into the drive. It will not refresh itself. None of the disks will,,,C:\ D:\etc. 'Splain? This problem is not so simple :-) Clicking the A:\ symbol, Windows Refresh button, Ctrl-R on Total Commander, changing current drive on Command Prompt - all this commands don't refresh the floppy content (or refresh sometimes). Any ideas? |
