Additionally the air-coolers cool motherboard and video card power regulation circuits which are designed to be cooled by passive airflow from nearby fans, not just case exhaust fans. |

You are not being very specific, have not indicated any particular configuration that would benefit from water cooling. For a water-cooler to do very well with an o'c CPU it needs have a fan on the radiator. A fan with no more noise than that can be used on a good CPU heatsink and will eliminate pump noise so there is no practical benefit to water cooling. Likewise a VGA heatsink can use a quiet fan. Water cooling is NOT for noise reduction, it is for exterme overclocking and will not be particularly quiet nor under $150 for a finished kit. I have no suggestions except to try building your own instead of a finished kit. |
