Intel "dual core" vs. "Core 2 Duo"
Getting a new computer - our most challenging use is home video
editing (and no video game playing). What are the differences between an Intel "dual core" (such as the E2160-1.8 GHz) versus the Intel "Core 2 Duo" (such as the E4300-1.8 GHz)? The E4300 has a 2 mb cache compared to a the 1 mb cache for the E2160, and both have a 800 MHz FSB - so what's the real difference between the "dual core" and the "Core 2 Duo"? Thanks! |
