As you have a Logitech Sphere, you might want to try this software.
http://www.MultiCamServer.com/en/download
It supports tilt, pan and zoom with the Logitech Sphere / Orbit.
You can control the camera from any browser.

There are other functions as motion detection, windows media
streaming, video recording, but those are not specific
to the Logitech Sphere/Orbit and can be used with any
other webcam or even a TV tuner.

I've been looking for something like this - A way to switch from one cam to
another WITHOUT disconnecting.

I'll give it a try this weekend when I do my TV show and post with my
impressions of it..
