Default PowerEdge 2600, can I move drives from media bay to backplane?

I have a poweredge 2600. There are two hard drives in the media bay and two
in the backplane. I would like to move the two drives from the media bay to
the backplane. Is this an easy swap? I may want to put a tape drive in the
media bay.

The drives are all using a PERC raid controller.

Any tips appreciated.

Thanks,
--Dan

On-board PERC?
You can physically move them.
It will almost certainly scrub them and wipe the data.

That would be a major drag. The system is functioning perfectly right now,
but I really want to use that media bay for a tape drive. I will have to
really look hard at the PERC info to see if I can do what I want. Any tips
are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
