Newbie: Graphics card replacement
Hi Everyone
I have had an XFX Geforce4 4200ti which has just died. I am looking for a new card to replace it. I do not want anything cutting edge, just something that is the same, or slightly better than my old card. I was looking at this card, which is 50gbp from ebuyer: - PNY Verto Geforce FX5700LE 8xAGP 128MB DDR Is this any good? Do you have any other recommendations (I am from UK)? Thanks Ben |

The 5700LE is slower than a 4200. A Radeon 9600 or 9800 Pro or XT is a good bet for the money, otherwise a 6600 or 6800. -- Mac Cool |
