Default Black screen solution??

All:

I have a new Dell 4600 with an AGP8X video controller and NVIDIA GE
Force FX 5200
driver (latest up-date from NVIDIA!).

Screen goes black, seemingly at random, sometimes returning to normal by
itself,
occasionally requiring re-boot.

I understand that this might be due to sharing an IRQ with other
devices. Currently,
GE Force FX 5200 shares IRQ 16 with 2 Universal Host Controllers.

Question - How to move GE Force FX 5200 to another (unused) IRQ safely?

Thanks for any help/reference.

Bruce
