Just want to try to get my Mobile Athlon 2500 to go 240fsb and 12.5
muliplier i know thats 3000 mhz, but i have not seen any reviews
of overclocking the chip with pc4000 ram much be possible if you can
get ernough juice to the ram and keep the cpu cool, maybe water
cooling ?

3GHz is not possible. There are limits, ok?

A lucky few have got close to 2.9GHz on water, and I think 3GHz has been
done several times on phase change. I think the highest is ~3.2 GHz on
cascade phase change, but who knows how high those crazy guys with LN2 have
taken them ...

Good luck. Not sure why the RAM has anything to do with the maximum
clock of the CPU... I would suspect the maximum clock of the CPU has
more to do with the CPU...

Agreed

Ah, just realised, Paul Mathews = We Live for the One we Die for the One

Yep, and still cross posting.
Know what? Here I'll tell yeah...
Total speed on gaming with my P4 2.8 @ 2.98 = that of my Athlon XP2200 +
running 2700+
& 2,174.5 2.17 or 2.18 depending on the program you use.
This is with the same setup on both, including ram.
But my AMD is good @ one thing I like doing, capturing video.
Denny. :-) Please stop the trolling.

That could explain things ...

I did wonder...
