6600 GT too noisy.
Anyone with this problem ?
I have an XFX, 128M AGP. Watching a movie is a pain... Anyone knows if there's a quieter heatsink replacement around ? |

Arctic Cooling's various VGA Silencer models would fit the bill very well.
That, or up the volume or get good headphones. -- "War is the continuation of politics by other means. The bolt pattern should be the same as either the 6800's, the FX series, or
the Radeons. -- "War is the continuation of politics by other means. It can therefore be said that politics is war without bloodshed while war is politics with bloodshed." If you can solder, this is a fix. Put a 10k resistor in series on the red
wire going to the fan. If the fan turns too slow, reduce the ohm rating accordingly. DaveL "MaSTeR" wrote in message ... "First of One" wrote in message ... The bolt pattern should be the same as either the 6800's, the FX series, or the Radeons. They don't have anything in stock for 6600. |
