How to use TV-IN without overlay
I like to watch videos using bsplayer using overlay mode. I also like to
monitor activity outside with a camera I have connected to the tv-in of my ati rage fury pro. I am using another program that allows motion detection. The problem is that the video card tries to use the overlay and so it is unavailable for bsplayer. The way I've found around this is to start bsplayer with a video playing, and then start the ati TV program. This will start it in "low-performance" mode where it doesn't use the overlay. However this method seems like more work than necessary and lately it's been crashing. Are there some registry settings that I can modify in order to get the tv-in to not use the video overlay as the default behavior? |
