HPZ200 beeps when turned on
Had a working HPZ200 computer which was working fine in one room. Took
it to another room, connected it to an outlet and it started beeping continuously which it never did before. Took it to the old room and it was fine. I thought it was a power surge in the second room so used a Belkin surge protector and it worked fine for few days, but now the HPZ200 started beeping and does not even boot. Took another functional HPZ200 and it also starts beeping in the second room. An electrician quickly examined the outlet and mentioned it was OK. The beeps are constant. I re-seated the memory chips, ran a diagnostic on them, disks and it all came out OK. Both computers were working very well and never had an issue. What could be causing 2 working computers to beep constantly when taken to the outlet in second room? Can it be a voltage spike despite using a surge protector or is it insufficient power in the outlet? |

See if you can roll it powered up, to a point where it starts beeping. |
