Anyone got a PNY GF5900ultra ??
Picked one of these up for 199 quid at my local cash convertors.
(they had 3..all brand new) After install i ran the auto overclock function and was quite surprised by the outcome. Co 545 Mhz (450 default) Mem: 1.00 Ghz (850 default) I'm interested to see if this is good, bad or average overclockabilitinessnes. |

Check with benchmarks ( Aquamark3 etc ) and real apps. Halo is a very good real-apps test. Use very high-res screen settings in the test. Freeze-up on the cut-scenes is normally a memory-timing violation. John Lewis |

The best moment to press the "auto overclock" button is after a few hours of gaming, then the card is warm and THEN the best overclock can be decided. So go back to original settings, play a few hours a heavy game and come back, while the card is still warm press "auto overclock" and see more safe speeds! |
