ATI AIW X800 and Apple Cinema 23"
I have noticed several posts about boot issues with the 23" Cinema
monitor and certain video cards. I recently upgraded from the Radeon 9550 to the ATI AIW X800. The old 9550 would boot correctly with the Apple monitor connected to the DVI port, but with the new X800 installed, the system will not boot at all unless I have a VGA monitor connected to the VGA port. I have tested a Dell 2001 on the new card an it works fine. ATI is no help at all. The say that the problem is with my configuration, but as I tried to explain to them, the 9550 will work correctly. I only have problems with the AIW X800. Has anyone made any progress on this issue? Thanks Rick
