FX5200 - Radeon 9200?

If they're both 128bit cards, no appreciable difference.....the FX5200 is
DX9 while the 9200's are DX8.1 so there's a slight advantage in favor of the
FX5200 there. If your FX5200 is 64bit (use Everest Home) and the other is an
actual 9200, not a 9200SE, then there'd be a performance gap in favor of the
9200.

i baught a 9200 and a 9200se
and believe it or not they where identical cards

both running in 64bit mode

9200SE. No exceptions. The 9200, 9200 Pro and 9250 (new) are all 128bit. You
somehow ended up with two 9200SE's.

Virtually identicle in performance. The 5200 might be a smidgeon faster.

A 9600pro or 5700ultra will about double your video performance in games.

Sapphire originally released the 128bit version of the 9800 "Pro" in a 9800
Pro box, with a 128bit sticker on the outside of the box. The problem was
the use of the word "Pro", since that alone is enough for buyers to assume a
true 256bit card. They've since seen the error of their ways, and it's been
remarketed and packaged as the 128bit 9800 Atlantis. Sapphire does not and
has not marketed any version of the 9200 that's 64bit except the 9200SE. The
only 64bit Radeon cards produced are the 9200SE, 9600SE and the X300SE. The
last one is a PCIe card that supplants the 9200SE and performs about the
same. The 9800SE is a 128bit card with 4 pipelines. The 9800 Atlantis is a
128bit with 8 pipelines. A 9800 Pro is 256bit with 8 pipelines.

Sorry, you're just wrong about this. Buy a straight 9200 retail, you get a
128bit card. Unless the box contents have been switched or it's been
returned and resold by the retailer there's no way this happens.

well i have

and only half of the ram points where populated so it was in 64bit mode

and no the card wasnt swaped

the sticker on the back of the pcb was a 9200 sticker not 9200se
