Default MSI or Asus FX5900Ultra??

OK then, since prices have dropped a little i have decided to buy one of the
above cards...i cancelled the NV40 idea. Damn thing will be $700-900.

I want one of these for the copper cooling solution, but...which one is
better?

Then what are you doing on this newsgroup? Most comparative lab tests put
them both about dead even. ATI pulls ahead on some tests and NVIDIA pulls
ahead on others.

MSI has better bundle. Other than that they are pretty much the same.

For overclocking and cooling, which is better?...i like the idea of two fans
on the MSI, but i do have a spare Vantec copper fan i could place on the
ASUS card.

Lab tests???

Sorry, if by "tab tests" you meant "running an array of DX9 games", then
please post some links.

Todays news is that DX9 is going to be a complete nightmare for nVidia
owners.

If you only want to play old games, then go ahead with the 5900Ultra.

Are you talking about the Anandtech review of HL2?...they are clearly
biased.
