overheating chip

Depends what motherboard you have. Typical core temperatures go to 70°C (actually thats a little high for typical), but I wouldn't really expect the top of the heatsink to be more than 50°C at the most. Ben -- I'm not just a number. OK OK, the post was a joke. I build/repair computers for a living, and I'm
