Default Gainward Ti4200 golden sample

an odd question
I am using the Gainward Ti41200 golden sample card with win XP pro sp1
(needed for DVD writer) the card seems to run fine but when I use the
gainward utility to use the golden sample settings the clock speeds do not
change.
I realise this is probably an XP caused problem but wondered if someone

who
has experienced this knows the way round it and would be kind enough to

tell
me.

I think it may be that you are using nvidia's latest stock drivers rather
than Gainwards supplied drivers. The utility is designed to work with their
own gear, naturally. Check Gainwards site for more info and drivers. They
also have a fairly new version of the Exper Tool.

Thanks redTed I now have it working with the latest version of Expertool and
this appears to have solved the problem so obviously no incompatibility I am
using the 42.30 driver from gainwards site and was curious as my nephew
plays the occasional game which as I can barely see I don't.
Thanks again
Dave

Only bad thing is that the 42.30 is the final driver release from Gainward
for the 4200.

No probs. Glad it's not anything more serious.
