GeForce 7600GT in E521
I think an E521 with an AMD 64 x2 3800+ will be powerful enough for my
purposes. I intend to use it as an HTPC and I want to add a GeForce 7600GT to it. I believe the power supply will have to be beefed up to 350 or 400 Watts. Can I use a standard ATX power supply or is a special one required for this model? -Dan |

That said, I'd recommend a fanless 7600GS if you are using it as an HTPC. You'll want it to be quiet. An HTPC doesn't need that much horsepower. I drive my 46" Samsung 1080p LCD with an integrated Intel GMA950 at the full resolution and display HD content flawlessly. Tom |

Here at home I'm about to run a Radeon X850 Pro off of an Antec 300w. Should be fine. Stew |

GeForce 7600GT in E521
Thanks. I mainly need the 7600GT for the h264 files I am getting. At
least that is what was recommended to me. On Mon, 16 Oct 2006 19:54:00 -0500, "S.Lewis" wrote: "Tom Scales" wrote in message ... "Daniel Jinks" wrote in message ...
