Default Using WMI for inventory of PC's and LCD's

Hello everyone!!!

I would like to get some ideas on collecting unique information from
all of the equiptment at my company for inventory. I know that WMI
would work well for getting the info for the PC's, but I thought it
would be really cool to also collect some sort of unique ID from the
monitors(LCD) and possibly the printers. Would a PnP id number work?
Would this change if I plugged in another of the same model of monitor?
If anyone knows anything on this or any software apps that can do
this, I would greatly appreciate your comments.

Thanks,
Brian
