Default an EVGA 7950 for 198USD??? :))

Hi folks,

Just found this one that smells a bit like "cheese for the mouse":

http://cgi.ebay.ch/eVGA-GeForce-7950...QQcmdZViewItem

These cards are anyway always ultimately built in china/taiwan so ...
it is also possible that the seller got it from the factory? ...
what do you think?

Regards,
Giovanni

The listing has been pulled. Just remember western laws don't apply in
China.

Due to the complexity and tight tolerances on the PCB, the high-end 7900 and
7950 cards are all built by one company - Flextronics, in China. It was the
same with the first FX5800 cards.

The production costs for these cards are not that low. The seller could have
stolen them from the factory, but that's a lot harder (and carry much higher
criminal penalties if caught) than simply having a bogus listing and
scamming an eBay buyer. :-)
