can this driver be found? HELP

I was looking at the www.compaq.com website for a SoundMax driver for
a COMPAQ Deskpro sb series, P733, i815. The only sound driver that
appears for that model is a Windows 2000 DOS driver and I need a W98
driver. The W2000 driver doesn't work, and I've tried a number of
soundmax drivers for other models but they don't seem to fly either.
I am about to get a PCI soundcard and forget all about the built-in
one. I hate, however, to throw the towel at this point, I've checked
everywhere. Can anyone HELP?............no answer from Compaq yet.
The old driver worked fine until the W95.Hybris.gen1 wiped it out.
