Default Presario 2100. Fixed DCC Jack, New Prob

Following the great post on the original HTFC bb forum on the presario
2100's common DC Power Jack fault i managed to completely dismantle my
wifes laptop to find that as with most people the middle pin from the
jack was loose.

I cleaned 2 of the pins up and resoldered them and reassembled the
laptop.

Everything seemed fine and when i got plugged in the power cord i saw
the lights on the ethernet port light up and then the power light on the
front came on.

I left it for an hour to give the battery some juice but when the power
button is pressed nothing now happens.
I did find that i'd forgot to plug the screens connector back in but
even rectifying that made no difference.

All in i reconnected - the screen cable, the heatsink cable, the
keyboard cable, and the mousepad cable, are there any others i'm likely
to have disconnected that i may have missed when reassembling?

I'm hoping its something like this rather than the fact that i've fried
something in the process

Any other tips would be great...gonna disconnect Hard Disk, DVD Drive,
Memory etc to see if maybe somethings not in fully and causing the
prob.

Thanks for looking in.

Got it up and running !!1

Missed the connector under the switchboard PCA which must have been
disconnected from underneath, had the unscrew the switchboard PCA and
there it was.

For some reason it never ran just off battery so gotta hope off reboot
it runs off the battery instead of just mains.
