Default Maxtor DiamondMax 10 platters?

Does anyone know how many platters the DiamondMax 10 200GB SATA drive has?
Maxtor does not list it in their data sheet, unlike the datasheets for
earlier generation drives.

Current-gen drives have 100GB per platter IIRC, so that's 2
platters... even if they're up to 120GB/platter that's
still 2 platters.

I am not that desparate (yet). But if someone has bought one, it might give
the number of platters on the label. It is possible they use three
platters, although two is more likely.

Maxtor's website should list it someplace in their specs. If not, you could
always email them.

I did email Maxtor tech support, and here is their answer:

"All DiamondMax 10 drives are based on the company's 100GB-per-platter
platform. So there are two platters in your 200-gig DiamondMax 10 drive."
