Default IBM Thinkpad T40p - ATI FireGL 64 MB card - HELP

On Sun, 13 Jul 2003 13:18:07 -0400, Mark W. said:

This is my first ATI card. Does anyone know if it can be adjusted to play
games?
I am very disappointed so far - Sim City 4000 flickers and I can't find any
adjustments.
The only refresh rate I can set is 60 Hz
Is this normal? I thought this was a top of the line card. Am I wrong? Are
there better drivers?

IIRC, the FireGL is a good card but not top of the line for gaming.

For a laptop, ATI makes the Radeon Mobility for gaming.
