Depends on what you want in the package. Some of the cheaper
compagnies are known to be a bit less reliable...I heard of an FX5200 clocked 250/333 instead of 250/400 for example. But generaly spoken, a card from a good compagny will give you what your money can buy! "Harry Muscle" wrote in message ... Well, it looks like due to money constraints I will be getting a FX5200 instead of the ATI 9600. Unlike ATI cards however, there seem to be quite a few companies that offer video cards based on the FX5200 chip. Which one is best? Are there any reviews comparing the same cards from all the different companies? I'm mainly interested in image quality. Thanks, Harry P.S. Any reviews done on the "video in" quality of the FX cards? -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 80,000 Newsgroups - 16 Different Servers! =----- |

Have good luck with the eVGA cards and the Albatron cards. Beware of some
of the low-end FX 5200, especially the 64Mb versions, as they tend to use a 64-bit datapath which just kills the performance. Tornado Computers (www.tornadocomputers.com) has the eVGA 128Mb video card with 128-bit datapath for $105.95, or the Daytona 128Mb card for $112.95 and those are with free shipping.
