Intel Larrabee will have 32 cores, not 16 or 24

Originally, Intel was saying Larrabee would have 10 or more cores.
Most articles in 2007 mentioned 16 to 24 cores. This was when
Larrabee was slated for release in 2009.

Now that Larrabee has been pushed to 2010, it seems Intel will be able
to get 32 cores into the first version.

Perhaps this is because a smaller fab process will be available.
Either way, this is good. The more the merrier. IBM is meant to have
a CELL with 32 SPEs by 2010 as well.

The fun part is, Intel's 32 cores plus everything else in Larrabee
will go towards running graphics really, really fast. Larrabee will
also supposedly have DirectX 11 capabilities, too.

Interesting times are ahead.
