Default rotating sound/frequency effect how?

Greetings,

I'm trying to create an effect of rotating sound with two speakers and with one speaker
does anyone know the formula to calculate this or how I should go about finding more infomation.
I tried Google but nothing came up for formulas.
Thanks

If you're talking about the sort of faked 3D positional sound that EAX
and A3D achieve, I don't think you can do that with just one speaker.
At best, you'd only be able to approximate an omnidirectional distance
and intensity.

Creative holds their technology close to the vest, but Aureal used to
put a fair bit of information out there for people to play with.
Obviously you won't be able to find anything official anymore, but you
might be able to track down a few articles here and there by searching
for A3D.

The IASIG site has some papers you might find interesting:

http://www.iasig.org/pubs/pubs.shtml

I don't know if they've got the depth you're looking for though, but
they're an interesting read. The I3DL1 and I3DL2 specifications seem
to have a fair bit of background and data that you might find useful
-- or not...
