Default How do I create a bootable CD Rom using Nero and this link?

I have an ISO image which when copied with Nero to my CD-R (as
Bootable CD or ISO CD) does not allow me to boot properly from. Either
bypasses the CD on boot or I get an EMM386 message like some files are
missing.

So what am I missing?

The ISO image is at this link:
http://www.killdisk.com/downloadfree.htm (third link regarding CD
image)

I want to be able to create this as a Bootable CD for WIN9x, ME, 2K,
XP.
My machine has Nero and Win2k on it.

Thanks so much
Patty

I recommend that you first read the documentation, particularly page 24.
Note, too, that the BIOS itself is bypassed by Windows and that
therefore a drive visible in Windows may not be in the DOS installed by
the program.

According to the site, the .iso is a bootable image. Just burn the .iso
as image, not data.

Nero 5:
[File, Burn Image], then point to the .iso.

Nero 6:
[Recorder, Burn Image], then point to the .iso.

Thanks I learned a lot on this:

The problem was that I did not know how to use Nero properly.
Duh........

I was selecting a Nero 6 option originally to create a Bootable CD or
ISO CD and then dragging and dropping the ISO image in the Nero Window
Panes.

Wrong-o-reeno.

What I found out above (thanks) probably in the instruction manual
(Mike R) was that I needed to:

1. Go to Nero Express (version 6).
2. Click on the last item "Disc Image or Saved Project".
3. Then select Image Files (.iso, .nrg, cue)
4. Burn

Perhaps my original way seemed more intuitive based on the program and
my naivety---but I was wrong and the above process worked.

Thanks all.
Patty
