Default Temp Difference on-die and under-cpu sensors

I've just got an A7V880 and the cpu temp is read from under the socket.
There's no little tape reaching up. My Biostar read the sensor in the cpu.

How much cooler should the under-cpu sensor read than the on-die sensor?

I'm having voltage reading issues, so don't trust the temp reading, and am
trying to establish some sort of ratio.
