Default Athlon XP 2400

Built a system a while ago works fine but CMOS seems to keep forgetting that
its a 2400 (said so on the box chip etc) and keeps saying its a XP 1800.

Probably to blame a

Motherboard/chipset SiS730

BIOS AMI 62-0913-001131-00101111-071595-SiS730S

TIA for any suggestions

The motherboard is reverting to a 100MHz FSB when it needs be 133MHz
FSB. If there's a switch or jumper on the board to set to 133MHz FSB,
use it. Also try entering BIOS and manually setting to 133MHz FSB if
set to AUTO, or if set to 133MHz, set to AUTO, play around with all
FSB setting options, and see if there's a BIOS update that might
address this and/or support the XP2400 if the current BIOS doesn't
officially support it.
