Default AMD - only RAM

I saw some extremely low priced RAM on eBay that was listed as only
working on AMD machines.

Since I'm working on a few that need upgrading I ordered four ...two
gig sticks from China for a /total/ price of $13 including shipping.

Before they shipped it they emailed me to confirm that I knew it was for
AMD only.

Only took a week to get here and it works fine.

First time I ever had a vendor ask me to double check.

I've had vendors double check with me but certainly never for a $13 order.

Possible they got a lot of complaints from people who did not read it first.

For $13 even if it did not work, it would not have been a big deal...

Sooner or later I'd have found a use for it.
