asus bios 1.06 ?
Hmmm this is kinda interesting:
Some more documentation about the WD drive: http://wdc.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/wdc....ted=1037222945 Especially the ECC is kinda interesting: Error Correcting Codes  It says Reed Solomon... that's an ECC algorithm The IBM documentation for the deskstar drive does not say what ECC technique it uses  Bye, Skybuck.
