Default wireless encryption

I noticed that, when I use WPA AES encryption on my wireless network, I
get disconnected a lot. Is there another encryption scheme that's less
likely to disconnect me?

Thanks.

With my D-Link router (which I would not buy if I had it to do over again) I will sometimes loose all communications with WPA encryption because the router locks up. This does not happen with WEP encryption.

What is funny is I had crossposted the original posters article to the
newsgroup, and he responded to that post, so he was already talking to the
wireless group.
So besides this, do you have any idea why when using WPA these two are
losing connectivity.
