FX5200 Problems w/ NFS Porsche Unleashed

When the initial screen showing the various options available comes up
for the game, the text is very distorted. I am running at 1024x768
(32-bit color). Is there any known fix for this problem? My other
older NFS games work fine (Hot Pursuit and High Stakes).

System Info:

WinXP Home SP1
512 MB RAM
Dell Dimension 4600
17" LCD monitor (1701Fp)
nVidia GeForce FX 5200 128 MB
6.14.0001.4354
Phoenix Bios 1.10 A03
DirectX 9.0a (4.09.0000.0901)
Pentium 4 2.40 GHz

Hi

I have the same problem, but I have a Ti4200, so it seems to be more driver
related than hardware. I have tried most of the current drivers and all have
the same problems.

I have tried various settings in the display drivers but nothing gave me
clear text, I eventually uninstalled the game out of pure frustration
