Default ** (Open) Transport Tycoon Deluxe (Multiplayer !)**

Hello,

One of the greatest if not the greatest transport empire building games of
all time can now be played for free and on windows and even on windows xp 64
bit and even in multiplayer !!!

All you need to do are these couple of steps:

1. Download Transport Tycoon Deluxe for Windows from one of these links:

http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?t=3407

2. Download Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe for Windows from on of these links:

http://www.openttd.org/

3. After installing both move/copy The Transport Tycoon Deluxe for Windows
folder to the Open Transport Deluxe for Windows DATA folder.

This will make the game work ok except for the music (?).

4. To play multiplayer just click multiplayer and then click find server.

Finally if you want to listen to some great music simply copy/rename the
*.GM (general midi) files to *.MID. Then you can play them with winamp.

Sounds great on my X-Fi soundblaster. (Be sure to use the music of the
Deluxe version for Windows... it has improved midi files )

I have played this game 24 hours nonstop that's how fricking good it was.

Now I am going to play it again.. first ofcourse I am gonna get me something
to drink and then it's back to lovely empire building.

I also learned a good trick from others.

Build railways in circle like fashion... so that trains can move around in
circle like a pipeline. This prevents them from having to past each other
hand on and complex switches. Simply use traffic lights to direct them in
one direction. Click a couple of times with the traffic light button to
change the traffic light type. There are three traffic light types. Front,
Back and Both. I am sure you'll figure it out sooner or later or simply
watch one of the greater players
This should also prevent trains from getting last and nasty waiting
queus/slots in use problems Yeah baby. Fricking great !!!

Beeeeee seeeing you.

P.S.: This game gets 2 stars for now because it's also a little bit
boring but at the same time still interesting to play

Bye,
Skybuck.

Actually there is one more thing you should know.

When starting your own server you have to select an connection option that
says: "Internet (Advertised)"

I didn't do that so I ended up playing all by myself/alone all night.

It did give me the oppertunity to build a nice big railroad company

But with more players it will probably be better yup -cities will grow
faster... I can't do everything myself you know

Pretty cool game.

Bye,
Skybuck.
