3d Mark performance hit when removing memory
"Seeker" wrote in message ... I had 1.25 GB of RAM and I was getting a 3d Mark 05 score of around 2900. When I went back to my old 512 MB RAM I got a score of 2300. Is this normal? Yes. In my old Barton 3200 Nforce2 box I started out with a single stick of 512 PC3200 and a 9800Pro at XT spec. Did 5850 in '03 and 2200 in '05. Bumped it up to 1 Gig dual channel with no other changes and these went to 6150 and 2550 respectively. |
