8500 AIW and ViewSonic monitor
Previously, I had a AIW 128 AGP. Since replacing this card with a Radeon 8500
AIW I've noriced that when the system boots up my ViewSonic PF790 monitor does a Degauss. Maybe it's a coincidence but I've started to notice some discoloration on the two outside edges of the monitor that goes away after 10 minutes or more. Can the constant degaussing have a detrimental affect on the monitor and, if so, how can it be stopped? JP
