black screen lockup when installing drivers
Hi
I'm getting a problem with driver install. The screen dips black, comes back to the install progress bar, then goes completely black and the KB stops responding. Can anyone give me a clue what might be wrong? (or ask me for more relevent information about the problem?) thanks

I don't know what it is but I had the same, I restarted the PC and

OK I'll keep trying, so far it's loaded thanks to the disk which came with
it and an update from an old version of the drivers I found... but... it still locks up sometimes. The card was working fine until I reinstalled windows... I probably need some sort of burn-in test for the card to figure out exactly where the problem lies. "Andi Cole" wrote in message ... When you reinstalled windows, you did reinstall mobo drivers? Especially AGP

yes, I even followed the instruction to install the "graphy" drivers after
