Device for two-way video capture
Please forgive me for putting identical messages on a number of newsgroups,
all dealing with video editing. If there is one group that covers the whole field, rather than being specifically aimed at one brand of hardware, would somebody please tell me. I have no experience in digital video editing, although I am reasonably computer literate. I would like to find a device that will allow me to both: (1) Transfer digital video in NTSC format from my Windows XP laptop computer, which has an external SVGA port and a USB 1.1 port to a TV or VHS VCR. I want to use that to (A) view jpg files on a TV screen, and (B) supply titles to my VHS home recordings. (2) Transfer NTSC video to my laptop in order to make video CDs or DVDs from my VHS tapes. I spent an hour in Fry's yesterday looking for a device that would do both, but came up empty handed. Musawwir Spiegel |
