I turn mine ON in the morning and then OFF at night. This is what I've
determined to be a good compromise.

Yes. I vote for turning it off nightly. If you don't the pc will get more
dust and the fans will die sooner.

Been turning mine off every day for 20 years. Never a problem. And its an automatic
memory defragger. Windows likes to sleep too.

Leaving the sucker on is pretty silly. One of those urban myths.

If your that old how can you be sure your really turning it off? Isn't the mind
