Default 001:Advice needed:inno-gfx 5200:d3d and ogl.settings...

i have just purchased a Inno 128meg geforce fx 5200(not ultra) and in the
settings of the direct 3d and open gl the settings tab are blank, so i am
unable to do custom settings in them both, is there something wrong here as
my old gfmx had these settings tab use-able, i have tried a number of the
nvidia drivers including old and the latest.
spec:
ms m/board.
celeron p4-2.2.
512 ram.
Inno 128 gfx 5200.
winxp pro.
thanks for any advice.
pip.

I have just bought a sparkle 5200 128mb card and have the same prob. So if
anyone knows, I'd be grateful. If anyone knows also what difference these
settings will make, I'd appreciate a 'laymans' version of what they can do
for me.

TIA

A good friend of mine just got a FX5200 card to replace his MX440 card.
We spent hours trying to get those settings to open up.
We Finally got em with the 43.51 drivers .... yea we stepped back
some....but no matter what we did we couldnt get the card to perform as good
(cant believe I'm saying this) as the MX440 card!!!.
The game details in SOF II are AWSOME on the FX card but the frame rate was
way lower.
We tried NVHardpage and GTU to maybe unlock some features but it just didnt
happen.
His card was the XFX FX5200 card.
He is taking the card back and exchanging it for a Ti4200 Gold Sample
Chaintech card...(he cant afford a 5600 in canada).
So if ANYONE can tell ALL of us how to make the FX5200 cards perform on par
with a Ti4200 PLEASE TELL US.

It won't. Not even the FX5200 Ultra can. The FX5200s are on
par with the GF3 cards, but that's only for a true 128bit memory bus
version. The 64bit memory bus versions do no better than the MX
cards... Maybe even worse when compared to the GF4 460MX.
