Odd Rebooting Question
My roommate reports that when his phone rings (connected through an internal
modem) his computer reboots. I assume he's insane but to placate him I'm posting this question. Anyone ever heard of this?

Anyone ever heard of this? What does one have to do with the other? I'd try a different driver then replace the modem if that doesn't help. If it still reboots after a modem swap then tell him it's the MAN, calling to get at his data, and he should shred everything and flee. ;-) Dave

If it is just go into the bios and disable wake on ring or modem. Lane
