Q: Bios for 4600ti
I have a Chaintech 4600ti 128Mb card running at stock speed with
Zalman Hp80A passive cooling. It is running bios number 4.25.00.27 without any issues except for some games over the DVI port where the screen blanks out on starting the game or changing resolution in game (Zeus/Emperor/Space Colony). I have seen the large number of updated BIOS files at http://whitebunny.demon.nl/hardware/chipset_nvidia.html and I was wondering if there is any resource that I can look at which will tell me the differences between my current BIOS 4.25.00.27 and the most recent one listed there which is 4.25.00.37 (performance, stability, features etc). Thanks in advance. |

Oh, and Chaintech have no card bioses issued since 4.25.00.27.00 - what are the risks of using the 4.25.00.37 bios (assuming I have taken a rom backup and actually flashed it properly)? Are they likely to be limited to the VIVO or TV functions not working (which I don't use). |

I just updated mine to 4.25.00.37 with no problem. I was having a DVI
problem when my computer rebooted it would say no signal input on my LCD monitor until Windows loaded the drivers and it would be ok then. It would not do it all the time. I could not get into bios when this happened. This bios fix the problem and have not had any other problem. "HelixStalwart" wrote in message ...
