5700 Ultra or 5900 Standard
Which one?
Both cost about £150-£170 We are talking bog standard version of the 5900 not ultra or anything else but just plain old vanilla flaavour? WIll be mainly used to play Battlefield 1942 with Athlon xp1600+ Cheers |

XT/SE (Love Nvidias confusion?) are slightly slower than the plan 5900... and still noticably faster than the fx5700Ultra. I saw it on dabs
At the time it was an XT model by Abit but now they seem to have a plain one by MSI for 175.00 Prob best to phone up and confirm though "Pete" wrote in message s.com... Thanks Mike for the update. I think that is the best price I've now seen
this side of the Atlantic. Mind you, if you are planning to visit the US or if you know someone who can post you one, you can pick up a vanilla 5900 for around $200 or £110 (at current exchange rates). I think I will do so when I visit the US in a couple of months. Thanks again for the information and I will let you know if I spot it at a better price here in the UK.
