Default nVidia GeForce4 MX 440 in PCI mode

Copenhagen (DK) 9.11.2003

Properties read: ... Bus type AGP (PCI mode)

How do I get: ... Bus type AGP (AGP mode)?

I can't understand why the MS Train Simulator isn't running smoothly no
matter how modest I set the display options, when my nVidia has 128 MB
of RAM and an AGP rating of 8.

regards
Claus A.

You did not mention if you had train simulator 2 so I assume you have train
simulator original version) and if so have you installed the upgrade located
here?

Indeed. Thanks for the tip . It is under way at this moment.

Still - shouldn't the nVidia Bus type be "... AGP (AGP mode)"?

Thanx for the tip(s). I found the AGP driver for my MB: Microstar 6585
with SiS648/963 Chipset. Now my bus type says AGP 8X, Memory = 128 MB.

I have also downloaded and installed the upgrade to Train Simulator.

But the T-simulator still runs jerky except when all display options are
turned off. Who is to blame - me (my pc) or the game writers at MS?

regards
Claus A.
