GF4 and quake 1

... how do I get my geforce 4 to work with glquake ?, just cuts out back to desktop, no error or anything Hi, Delete the file opengl32.dll from your Quake folder (it's meant for a 3dfx card). Then run the game and you'll find it'll work. The game will then be using the correct one for your card which is in your Windows\System folder. Note that to run at higher resolution you want to add a command line to a shortcut that starts the game. Right-click glquake and select create shortcut. Drag the shortcut somewhere useful. Right-click the shortcut and select Properties. Click the Shortcut tab and change the Target line so that it says, for example D:\Games\QUAKE\glquake.exe -width 1024 -height 768 for 1024x768 (obviously you'd have a different path to the game if you've installed it elsewhere) or D:\Games\QUAKE\glquake.exe -width 1600 -height 1200 for 1600x1200 and so on.
